With the decline of platforms like Twitter, new online spaces are springing up around the web to help people connect in new ways. The Cultural Futures Foundry has created a virtual community centre online using a new service called Spatial.io!

Learn how to move around the space in the arrival hall, browse art in the galleries, watch talks in the auditorium, socialise in the lounge, or enjoy the sights from the sky walks!
engaging galleries
Visit the changing exhibitions hosted in each of our two galleries. The Future Folklore Exhibition is now live at the Hub. Exhibitions include artwork exploring how folklore themes are embedded in modern life and communities from artists Lucy Wright and Paul Watson.

It was lovely to welcome everyone at the grand opening and book launch events, and see so many people enjoy the tales and traditions of the waters, woodlands and skies shared by speakers at each of our themed folklore sessions!

There is a huge folklore and heritage community online. People from all around the world have come together to share folklore, community stories and traditions over the last 10 years. Now we need a new space, and new ways of connecting to keep that community spirit alive!
